What we consider important
We believe it is important to make a product that is not only delicious, but also good for your health and the planet. Our peanut butter contains at least 88% peanuts (in our natural version even 98%!), without palm oil and with as few additives as possible. This makes it a healthy snack and an excellent protein-rich plant-based alternative to animal products.
In addition, we believe it is important that everyone gets a chance on the labor market. A large part of our team consists of people with a distance to the labor market. We believe that everyone can contribute and do this without compromising the quality of our product.

Peanut butter offers endless combinations and we have developed this into ten delicious flavor variations, from Caramel Sea Salt to Chili Pepper Lemongrass. We are constantly looking for the tastiest ingredients to make the best peanut butter in the world! We continue to experiment and develop to make the tastiest peanut butter, without compromising on quality or sustainability.

Peanut butter is a naturally sustainable product. The peanut plant enriches the soil with nutrients and nitrogen, which ensures healthier agriculture without artificial fertilizers. In addition, the cultivation of peanuts is water and CO2 efficient, making it one of the most sustainable crops in the world. As a peanut boss, you are therefore doing something tasty and sustainable! By eating more peanut butter instead of animal products, you contribute to a better planet. In perfect health
Our peanut butter is super healthy. It contains a lot of proteins, vitamins, minerals and unsaturated fats. In addition, our peanut butter is sugar-free, low in salt and palm oil-free. A tasty and healthy jar of peanut butter! Ideal as a healthy sandwich spread or to process in a recipe.
our impact
Our peanuts and conscious choices
Our peanuts come from Argentina, where modern agriculture is applied to large areas of land with advanced machinery. The working conditions and wages of the farmers are of a high standard here, which is an important condition for us. In addition, many of these farmers work with a no-tillage system, which improves the soil condition and prevents erosion of valuable nutrients.
peanut butter without palm oil
We do not use palm oil, but coconut oil as an addition to our peanuts. We were the first in the Netherlands to use coconut oil in peanut butter, because we do not want to support the deforestation and chemicals that come with palm oil production. Coconut oil is not perfect, but in our eyes it is a much more sustainable alternative and it contributes to the taste of our peanut butter. Peanut butter is a naturally sustainable product.
sustainability is key
We take extra steps to minimize our impact on the environment:
- We package our peanut butter in glass jars with metal lids and offer a refill option in our stores.
- Our factory runs on energy from 145 solar panels and is completely gas-free.
- We use organic ingredients as much as possible and avoid pesticides.
- Product surpluses are still given a home through platforms such as Too Good To Go, so that there is hardly any waste.
- Our office and factory also contribute to sustainability. We built our office in Aalsmeer with recycled materials and work completely gas-free.
- We encourage a sustainable lifestyle within our team: Meatless Monday is standard for us and we encourage vegetarian lunches.

We believe that everyone can make a valuable contribution and that talent presents itself in many forms. That is why we at De Pindakaaswinkel are actively committed to giving people with a distance to the labor market a fair chance. A significant part of our team consists of employees who, for whatever reason, have difficulty finding work.
