This is how far Fleur went for a jar of peanut butter...
Alarm
The government is ringing the alarm bells: code yellow, orange and later even red. “Yes, of course, I’m out of peanut butter, reason to panic,” thinks Peanut Boss Fleur. The reports were actually intended for Storm Eunice. The storm that caused considerable damage in February 2022. The advice was for everyone to stay indoors, but Fleur knew better. An order was waiting for her at De Pindakaaswinkel in Amsterdam, so off she went. Carefully on her bike for 40 minutes. This all went smoothly and she soon had her peanut butter in her arms. She stayed to chat for a while before she went back. This was when Fleur noticed that the wind had picked up a bit.
The way back
This return trip is an action that Fleur still thinks: “Why did I do this?” Fearing for her own life, she braved the weather with her bike in hand, right next to the houses. When crossing, the wind was so strong that her bike went up in the air several times. She held on to the two jars of peanut butter firmly in the meantime: “I'd rather give up my bike than risk my life with those jars of peanut butter.” When she got home, Fleur still had to shiver from the tension. While she wiped away a tear, the emergency call came in on her phone: “Stay inside!”
